Ask
theentrepreneur is your business and entrepreneuring
support partner, an outstanding advisor and wise counsel who will
collaborate and assist you with in-depth perspective, expert
opinion, sharing of ideas, contributing support resources, and
advising you on all phases of business & venture capitalization.
Ask
theentrepreneur
is a way to get the help you need from experienced consultants with
vast knowledge,
experience and expertise in business and
new ventures. When you post a question to Ask
theentrepreneur, you specify how much you're willing to pay for an
answer. An Ask
theentrepreneur mentor will research the information you want
and respond back to you via email. You will only be charged for your
question if and when an answer is posted to it.
Your question (if not of a personal nature) will also be publicly
viewable on the Ask
theentrepreneur website so other users can add their
insights and share the benefit of the answer. Users who provide
comments will not be paid for their postings, but they may add
interesting perspectives to the answer provided by the Ask
theentrepreneur
mentor Your identity and personal information will not be revealed
to either the mentor or the community of Ask
theentrepreneur users at any
time; instead you will be identified only by the question asked.
Our Ask
theentrepreneur
mentors will do their best to answer every question, some questions
simply don't have clear answers. And sometimes, the donation
provided for a question is too little to justify the time commitment
required for an answer.
It's also possible the answer to your
question is simply not available. If you do receive an answer, but
are not satisfied with it,
you can first request an additional response through an "Answer
Amplification" request. If still unsatisfied, you can request and
apply for a refund.

What questions can I ask?
You can ask any question that can be answered with words and/or
numbers. And you can edit your question's at any time within 24
hours of submission, as long as it is not being worked on by a
mentor.
All questions pertaining to every aspect to your business or venture
are accepted. Keep in mind that Ask
theentrepreneur is not a
substitute for professional advice or services, nor will we
knowingly provide answers to assist in illegal activities. We
reserve the right
to delete questions on a case-by-case basis if
they do not comply with our editorial policy and guidelines for
"Proper Use," as specified in our Terms of Service.
Ask
theentrepreneur discourages and may remove questions that:
- request private
information about individuals

in conducting illegal activities

are meant to
sell or advertise products

refer or relate
to inappropriate content

How do I clarify my own question?
You may decide that your question is not clear or specific enough or
that it just needs a little change. We do not provide a way for you
to modify the original text of your question, but you may re-submit
your questions within a 24 hour period, if a Mentor has not yet
responded to your questions. Please state in your heading QUESTION
MODIFICATION.
Sometimes a Mentor will issue a Request for Question Clarification
on your question. You may respond directly back to the Mentors
request.

Do you answer financial, or legal questions?
We will provide background information and links to other sources
for questions of a professional nature, but Ask
theentrepreneur is not a
substitute for professional advice and counsel. If you have a
question of this nature, we strongly recommend you consult a
professional.

How much do answers cost?
The 'donation amount' you set for your question reflects how much
you're willing to pay for an answer. That price can be as low as $20
or as high as $200. If you decide you are willing to pay more for an
answer after setting your price, you can increase the amount when
making your final payment upon receipt of your answer. You'll only
be charged the amount you set when and if your question is answered
to your satisfaction. If your question is not answered, your initial
(50%) donation amount will be promptly refunded to you.

How much should I pay for my question? What
amount should I set?
The more research required to find an answer, the higher the
fee amount you should set for your question. Three-quarters of
your question price goes directly to the Mentor who answers your
question; the other 25 percent goes to Ask
theentrepreneur
to support the service.
Setting a price too low to compensate
for the time required may result in your question not receiving an
answer. The more you are willing to pay, the more likely your
question is to get answered quickly.

Will I be charged for more than one answer?
No. You can only be charged for an "answer", and only one answer can
be provided to a question. You are in full control of the amount you
specify when making your donation through PayPal.

Is my credit card information safe?
We understand that making a purchase online involves a great deal of
trust on your part. We take this trust very seriously, and make it
our highest priority to ensure the security and confidentiality of
the information you provide. This is why we use PayPal for our
payments. PayPal protects your
privacy and security.

Who will answer my question?
Your question will be answered by a highly qualified and screened
Ask
theentrepreneur Mentor . Ask
theentrepreneur Mentors are experts in their
respective business fields. Your question may also receive comments
from other Ask
theentrepreneur
users who can volunteer suggestions and advice at no additional
charge to you. All Mentors must go through an interview process that
determines their experience and ability to provide responsible
answers.

also
spot-checks their answers once they've been approved. If an Ask
theentrepreneur
editor sees a problem with an answer, that answer will be pulled and
your question will be put back into the system. You are strongly
encouraged to
provide feedback on the quality of the
response you receive by using the Feedback link on the main Ask
theentrepreneur webpage.

Are Mentors experts in their field?
All Ask
theentrepreneur
Mentors are screened to ensure that they
are experts in their respective fields with excellent communication
skills. Some of them also have expertise in multiple fields. Your
question may be answered by an expert in a particular field or by an
generalist Mentor.
Either way, if you are unsatisfied with your answer for any reason,
you may apply for a full refund.

answered?
Your assigned Mentor will directly respond to you by email.

What if a question doesn't have a clear answer?
Some questions simply don't have clear, straightforward answers, in
such cases, Mentors will attempt to provide the best information
available on the question and may collaborate with one or more other
Mentors to provide you the best response.

The Mentor only partially answered my question.
How do I get further clarification?
You have the option to make a comment or request a clarification
once you receive your answer from a Mentor. Respond directly back to
the Mentor by e-mail that you wish to request a clarification.

What if I don't like my answer? Can I get a
refund?
If you are not fully satisfied with your answer for whatever reason,
the first step is to request a clarification of your answer from
your Mentor.
If you are still dissatisfied after clarification, you can request
your question be re-posted once again. If you receive a second
answer and are still not satisfied,
you may apply for a full refund, using
our refund request form. If you want a refund, you'll be asked to
explain why you were unsatisfied with your answer.

grants full refunds for all reasonable requests for up to 30 days
after answers are posted.

How do I tip my Mentor?
When you make your final payment, any amount over your originally
stated Fee Amount will be given 100% to the Mentor. Ask
theentrepreneur will not take a percentage of the tip. Tips are not
refundable. Thank you for tipping your Mentor! They appreciate it.

What is the difference between an "answer" and a
"comment"?
Each question can receive only one formal "Answer" from a Mentor who
can also provide follow up clarifications to their answer. Comments
may be posted by anyone using the Ask
theentrepreneur
service. People who comment are not paid for their Comments.
Comments are free - there is no charge to the asker of a question
for Comments posted to their question.

I posted my question and a registered user
answered it in a comment. Can I cancel my question to the paid
Researchers?
Yes, you can cancel your question to your Mentor at any time, as
long as the question has not been answered. To cancel your
question, Send an e-mail (using the same e-mail address you posted
your question from) to Ask
theentrepreneur with "Cancel Question" in the
subject line.

Privacy Policy?
theentrepreneur respects and protects the privacy of the individuals that use
the
theentrepreneur website and the Ask
theentrepreneur services. Individually
identifiable information about you is not willfully disclosed to any
third party outside the staff and associates of
theentrepreneur.

Will my question and answer be publicly viewable?
It may be posted. Your question and the corresponding answer may be
posted on the web and viewable by the public if the question would
be of value to others and is not personal in nature. However, your
personal information will never be posted with your question, so
your privacy is protected. If you do not wish to have your question
and answer posted, please make that request with your question.

To protect your privacy, we recommend that you not post your email
address or any other personal information about yourself within the
body of your question to Ask
theentrepreneur.
The site is available for public viewing and may be indexed and
crawled by search engines. Mentors are asked to not answer questions
that contain or ask for personal contact information.

theentrepreneur will have their posting privileges
revoked.

At the bottom of every question page we provide a link to our
administrative offices. We encourage you to use this link whenever
you see questionable content posted to the site. In your email,
please provide information about the
question, and the reason you find the content questionable.
